在与新闻网站Automaton的对话中，堀井雄介被问及工作室的开发者是否经常意见不合。堀井雄介承认确实存在冲突，但他澄清说这些“内部斗争”并非完全负面。“如果设计师和程序员发生争执，策划者的职责就是调解，”堀井雄介解释道，并补充说这样的争论可以带来积极成果。
“毕竟，如果没有争论和讨论，你只能期待一个平淡无奇的最终产品。因此，冲突总是受欢迎的，”他补充道。他还进一步解释说，从这些冲突中获得的重要经验是确保它们能带来积极的结果。“如果冲突没有带来富有成效的结论，那么争论就毫无意义，因此策划者有责任引导大家朝着正确的方向前进。关键在于进行健康而富有成效的争论。”
堀井雄介还提到，工作室的团队倾向于“齐心协力地奋斗”，而不是回避冲突。“我们根据创意的优劣来接受意见，而不是根据哪个团队提出的，”他说。与此同时，工作室也不害怕拒绝那些不符合他们高标准的想法。“我们也会‘毫不留情地’否决糟糕的想法，所以归根结底，为了制作一款好游戏，我们需要进行辩论和‘战斗’。”
