At EVO 2024, Capcom showcased three of the seven games featured in the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics. This eagerly anticipated bundle brings together six cornerstone titles from the cherished Versus series, including the iconic Marvel vs Capcom 2, often hailed as one of the greatest fighting games ever. During the event, IGN had the privilege of interviewing Capcom producer Shuhei Matsumoto, who provided a deep dive into the company's unwavering commitment to the Versus series and the meticulous journey to revive these classics.
Matsumoto disclosed that the project has been in development for approximately three to four years, underscoring the dedication and hard work invested in bringing this collection to fruition.
