Co-Studio Head Ryan Schneider expressed enthusiasm for future film projects, referencing the 2016 Ratchet & Clank movie. While the film received mixed reviews, Insomniac’s confidence stems from Sony’s recent successes in game adaptations, notably the critically acclaimed The Last of Us series. The acquisition of Insomniac by Sony in 2019 further bolsters this confidence.

Schneider stated, "I think back to the Ratchet and Clank film from several years ago. And we kind of got an early start on that. So, of course, we’re interested in that kind of thing.
