Konami's developers have provided an update on the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed that the studio's top priority for 2025 is delivering a refined, high-quality game that meets fan expectations.

Okamura stated in a recent 4Gamer interview: "We're intensely focused on completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025." He emphasized that the remake is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to polishing details and enhancing overall quality.

While PlayStation previously speculated a 2024 release, that timeline proved unrealistic. Sources within the studio now indicate a 2025 launch date. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

The game promises a faithful recreation of the original's essence, enhanced with modern gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical upgrades, Okamura hinted at new features designed to elevate the gaming experience.

Konami unveiled a captivating Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. The over two-minute video showcases dramatic scenes, including the protagonist, antagonists, an intense airdrop sequence, and a thrilling firefight.
