Talk to Professor Lodochka at Wild Island

Proceed to the Wild Island mission marker, locating Professor Lodochka at Quite's Camp. Expect an immediate priority: eliminating mercenaries marked on your map. These enemies are readily identifiable, not hidden.

Equip yourself well; this is not the only encounter. Eliminate all mercenaries to proceed to Lodochka. An optional objective, "Activate the Ventilation System," will then appear.

Activate the Ventilation System

Consult your map for the fuse location. After retrieving it, a new marker will appear north, leading to the engineering rooms. Beware: an invisible enemy lurks here.

Navigate the shelter to the Engine Room. Use the fuse to restore power to the ventilation system, facilitating mission progression. While this optional objective offers no unique rewards, it simplifies the main mission.

Find the Signal Source

Consider acquiring better weaponry before proceeding. The marked location reveals a cave entrance near the water. Navigate westward through the caverns, descending and overcoming obstacles. A broken pipe aids ascent to higher cave levels.

Locate the large cone-shaped spire; the emitter is at the marked point beside it. Another invisible enemy threatens your exit. Return to Lodochka to complete the mission, unlocking "Hornet's Nest" as the next main objective.
