Mecha BREAK Developers Evaluating Free Access to All Starting Mechs

Mecha BREAK May Unlock All Starting Mechs Following Player Feedback

The multiplayer mech title Mecha BREAK completed its Steam open beta on March 16, drawing strong engagement and valuable input from players. During the beta period, the game reached a peak of over 300,000 concurrent players and currently ranks as the 5th most wishlisted title on Steam.

In light of this positive reception, developer Amazing Seasun from China is evaluating several gameplay adjustments, including potential changes to Break Striker (mech) availability and the implementation of mech modules for competitive 3v3 and 6v6 modes. That said, the studio has not confirmed any final decisions and remains committed to a live service model at launch, which they believe supports long-term growth.

At present, players begin the game with access to only one Break Striker, while the remaining mechs can be unlocked by earning in-game currency and purchasing them. This process involves playing multiple matches, and it may take considerable time before players can collect all 12 Break Strikers.
