After nearly a decade of development, the eagerly anticipated game Lost Soul Aside is set to launch on May 30 for PlayStation 5 and PC. This project began as the passion project of solo developer Yang Bing, who has since transformed it into a major title under Sony's 'China Hero Project.' Bing now leads as the founder and CEO of Ultizero Games, based in Shanghai, marking a significant evolution from his initial solo endeavor.

As the release date approaches, IGN had the privilege of interviewing Yang Bing to delve into the extensive journey towards the game's launch. Lost Soul Aside has transitioned from a one-person vision to a highlight at Sony's State of Play, capturing the attention and excitement of gamers worldwide. The game has been lauded for blending the character depth of Final Fantasy with the intense combat style reminiscent of Devil May Cry, a buzz that started with Yang Bing's viral reveal video back in 2016.

With the assistance of a translator, IGN explored with Yang Bing the game's early beginnings, its sources of inspiration, the myriad challenges faced by the team over the years, and much more, offering fans a deeper understanding of what has gone into creating this much-anticipated single-player action game.
