Disney Dreamlight Valley welcomes Aladdin and Jasmine in the free Tales of Agrabah update, letting players invite both characters to the valley. Below is a complete guide to Aladdin’s friendship quests and their rewards, including steps to unlock them.

Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Upon arriving in Dreamlight Valley, Aladdin invites you to spend time with the Magic Carpet and snap a photo with it. Equip the Carpet as a Companion via the wardrobe menu, then take a selfie to finish the “Carpet Diem” quest, which begins in the Agrabah realm.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

Raise Aladdin’s friendship by gifting his favorite items to unlock the “Good As Gold” quest at Level 2. Aladdin shares that Scrooge McDuck needs help testing his new security system, so you’ll team up to scope out his shop. Start by speaking with Scrooge, then take photos of key features in his store.

• A door guarding treasures rivaling the Cave of Wonders.
• Two ways to access the shop’s second floor.
• Three methods for quick escapes from guards.

Photograph the vault door behind the desk and both staircases, aiming for wide shots to cover all requirements efficiently. Discuss the next steps with Aladdin, who suggests wearing dark, athletic clothing. You can optionally wait until night (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.) to change and proceed with the quest.

Once dressed for stealth, enter the shop and speak with Aladdin. He’ll direct you to press a large red button on the wall left of the counter to activate Scrooge’s security test. This shifts the shop to a “closed” state, replacing displays with light pools and buttons that control their positions. Use the buttons to move downstairs and press the same button by the counter without being spotted.

Experiment to learn which buttons control specific lights. Begin with the central button Aladdin indicates, then head to the back right wall to disable two upstairs lights. Next, press the button above the right staircase to shift the spotlight away from the button above the left staircase. Press the left staircase button to turn off the light not covering the central button, then hit the central button again to clear the light at the bottom of the right staircase.

Downstairs, press the button on the right side of the counter to move the front door spotlight toward the staircase you descended. Then, use the button on the left display counter to turn off the light over the initial test button. Press the counter’s left button again, then talk to Aladdin by the vault.

Coins will start floating around the shop. Collect all four by gliding and pressing the interact button when near. Hand them to Aladdin, who reveals some coins escaped into Dreamlight Valley. You’ll need to track down the rest.

Leave the shop, and you’ll appear outside your house. Glide to collect nine more coins scattered across the valley. Then, visit Jasmine and Aladdin’s house to deliver the coins, adding them to Scrooge’s growing gold pile.

Next, take a photo with Aladdin and the gold pile. Head outside to overhear Aladdin and Scrooge discuss the mission, then speak with Aladdin to complete the “Good As Gold” Level 2 Friendship quest.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

Settled in Dreamlight Valley, Aladdin wants to craft a Dreamlight Magic Carpet like his trusted companion from Agrabah. Join him to create this new glider.

Start by consulting Merlin, who advises searching the Dreamlight Library for three books: Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, and Flying Technique. Locate them by the book pile in the back left corner, on the shelf against the back right wall, and left of the central desk.

Deliver the books to Aladdin for research. He’ll send you to Minnie for assistance in crafting the carpet. Gather these materials and bring them to Jasmine and Aladdin’s house:

• 4 Dream Shards
• 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach)
• 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor)
• 25 Fiber (Kristoff’s Stall, Crafting)

Hand over the materials to Aladdin and wait as he crafts the Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Accept the Magic Scroll from him, interact with the carpet on the floor to make it fly, and speak with Aladdin again to receive it. Follow him to the Disney castle entrance.

Aladdin has planned a valley tour to showcase your new carpet, providing snacks to boost your energy. The Dreamlight Magic Carpet is a Glider skin, requiring you to overfill your energy bar (turning it yellow) by eating prepared meals to use it.

Equip the Dreamlight Magic Carpet from the wardrobe. Begin the tour by gliding under the Plaza’s main square banner, then head left toward the Forest of Valor. Cross the forest, turn right to descend the ramp to Dazzle Beach, then immediately right to glide up the ramp to Peaceful Meadow. Turn left to go down the stairs back to Dazzle Beach, cross the bridge with a left turn, then go right to reach the pier’s end. Track the quest in your menu to stay on course.

Note: The Dreamlight Magic Carpet gives the appearance of flying but functions like other gliders in Disney Dreamlight Valley, meaning ground obstacles will still impede movement.

Reach the pier’s end and speak with Aladdin to complete the “Bring Your Own Carpet” Level 4 Friendship quest.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

At Friendship Level 7, Aladdin unlocks the “All That Glitters” quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley. He’s crafting a bouquet for Jasmine, aiming to outshine Agrabah’s palace gardens where she spent much of her time. Your offer to help excites him, and he asks for assistance gathering flowers to elevate the bouquet.

Collect 4 yellow flowers (any type) and 6 purple flowers (any type), then deliver them to Aladdin. Hear his disappointment when Jasmine says the bouquet matches the beauty of Agrabah’s gardens.

Speak with Aladdin again. He wants to give Jasmine something she truly loves and recalls a scroll from Scrooge McDuck hinting at a treasure. If you mention Jasmine’s love for adventuring, he insists on surprising her this time and asks for your help to find the treasure.

The scroll points to “the mermaid’s isle.” Travel to Skull Island’s raft to reach Ariel’s isle. On the peninsula’s upper right side, pick up the Golden Sun Piece on the ground. Insert it into the tall rock to the left of the entrance.

Discuss the broken pillar image with Aladdin. Head north from the rock to dig up a buried box in the sand. Fish a pillar piece from the golden circles by the raft, then open the nearby barrel to retrieve another piece.

Add both pieces to the Pillar. When nothing happens, ask Aladdin if someone in the valley might know more. Interact with the Pillar again, take a photo, and return to Dreamlight Valley.

Consult Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel about the Pillar, but none recognize it. Return to Ariel’s island, where Jasmine unexpectedly appears, offering her expertise. She explains the Pillar’s pieces rotate and that clues on the island reveal their correct order.

Interact with the Golden Sun Piece for the clue: “From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers.” Face the Pillar with your back to the Golden Sun Piece, then adjust the middle piece to show water. Set the bottom piece to a seed using the left side, and the top piece to a flower using the right side.

Collect the treasure from the water left of the Pillar and give it to Aladdin. Listen as he presents it to Jasmine, who values their shared adventures more. Aladdin accepts this with slight embarrassment. Speak with him to receive a golden tea set furniture item and complete the “All That Glitters” Level 7 Friendship quest.
