World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!

Get ready for a Timewalking marathon! World of Warcraft's Turbulent Timeways event is back, offering seven consecutive weeks of Timewalking campaigns until February 24th. Players can earn a plethora of rewards, including a mountain of Timewarped Badges, a substantial experience boost, and brand-new items.

This expanded event builds upon the September 2023 iteration, which featured five weeks of Timewalking. This time, however, players will journey through every Timewalking expansion, starting with Mists of Pandaria on January 7th and concluding with Cataclysm the week of February 18th. The familiar Mastery of Timeways buff returns, providing a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons.

Unlock the Timely Buzzbee Mount!

Complete the Mastery of Timeways buff for at least five out of the seven weeks to earn the Mastery of the Turbulent Timeways 2 achievement and claim the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount! Timewalking vendors across all expansions boast new permanent additions to their inventory, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. The Sandy Shalewing pet, previously unavailable, is also making a comeback for those who missed it last time. Plus, the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest reward, the Cache of Nerubian Treasures, will now grant Heroic gear throughout the event's duration.

Turbulent Timeways Event Schedule:

  • January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
  • January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
  • January 21-27: Legion
  • January 28-February 3: Classic
  • February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
  • February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
  • February 18-24: Cataclysm

More Than Just Timewalking:

With the recent 20th-anniversary event's 11 weeks of Timewalking and the addition of Turbulent Timeways, players will experience a whopping 18 weeks of continuous Timewalking!

The Turbulent Timeways' conclusion date also hints at future World of Warcraft plans. The event's end on February 24th, coupled with Blizzard's typical release schedule and the holiday season, strongly suggests a February 25th launch for Patch 11.1, Undermined – ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7. This, along with the second run of Plunderstorm and the upcoming War Within update, promises a jam-packed start to 2025 for World of Warcraft players.
