如果你直接前往，这是你在游戏中可以获得的第一把额外武器，它距离你第一次离开地下掩体到达地表后出现的地方并不远。一旦你降落在城市废墟并跳到较低的区域，向左侧看，你会看到一条高速公路就在最近的入口点上方。朝高速公路直行，跳到废墟上，以便爬上去并在高速公路的主路上奔跑。这样做会把你带回到工厂所在的地方。
跳到工厂里，沿着草地小路走向主建筑。沿着左侧隐藏着另一个入口点，以及一组通往上层的楼梯。在上层区域，向左看，你会看到你与巨人级敌人战斗过的被摧毁的桥梁。跑到被摧毁的桥梁边缘，你会发现圣剑插在地上，你可以捡起来带走。
就在剑的右侧，是你的旧身体，你也可以洗劫它，以取回序章中所有的消耗品。
