Vigilant Launches "Burn & Bloom"
Vigilant: Burn & Bloom, a new endless survival game, is currently in soft launch on iOS. Players assume the role of the Sentinel, an ecosystem guardian, battling hordes of fiery elemental beings.
This isn't a simple good vs. evil scenario. The Sentinel's task is to maintain balance between fire and water, preventing the alien world from being consumed by flames. The game features a unique approach, requiring players to manage and control the fire elementals, destroying them only when necessary.
As the Sentinel, you'll explore an underground base (the "Batcave") to upgrade your powers and abilities. The gameplay involves rotating your phone to aim and unleash water orbs against the fire elementals. While action-packed, the game offers a more nuanced take on the classic elemental conflict, avoiding a simplistic "kill everything" approach.
The game's unique approach to the fire and water dynamic sets it apart. While satisfying action is abundant, the emphasis on ecological balance adds depth.
Vigilant: Burn & Bloom's worldwide iOS launch is slated for December 2024, with an Android release expected in Q1 2025.
