Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025, a three-day extravaganza, will hit three major cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

More details are promised in March, but expect the same thrilling mix of exclusive Pokémon encounters, special gameplay, and bonuses as previous years. Remember, event details are subject to change.

Pokémon GO Fest is renowned for its rare Pokémon appearances, increased Shiny rates, and unique in-person experiences including exclusive merchandise and community events. In-person attendees can anticipate dedicated team lounges and habitat-themed activities.

January Events: Fashion Week and Shadow Raid Day

Beyond the GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two additional January events:

• Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) - January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. Catch Shadow Palkia, encounter new Pokémon Shroodle and Grafaiai (from 12km Eggs), and more! Look out for a fashionable Croagunk in snapshots.

• Shadow Raid Day (Ho-Oh): January 19th (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Challenge five-star Shadow Raids for a chance to catch Shadow Ho-Oh. A $5 ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chances, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids. Shiny Ho-Oh and the chance to teach it Sacred Fire (using a Charged TM) await lucky trainers.
