HoYoverse's *Tears of Themis* has a new update: the Ballad of the Dunes, a collaboration event with Gansu Province’s Culture & Tourism. This exciting crossover blends the game's signature detective work with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a city on the edge of the Gobi Desert, creating a captivating blend of mystery and history.

What Does Ballad of the Dunes Bring to Tears of Themis?

This event immerses players in the romance and mystery of the ancient Silk Road. Prepare to unravel intriguing cases while surrounded by the evocative atmosphere of Dunhuang. The Ballad of the Dunes introduces:

Four stunning new MR cards, each featuring Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius, styled after the unique elements of Dunhuang's culture. Expect to see depictions of flying apsaras, intricate murals, and even the classic pipa. The artistic style mirrors the ancient performers depicted in the Mogao Caves, reflecting the vibrant artistic melting pot of the Silk Road during the Western Han Dynasty (202 BC–8 AD).

Each card boasts a unique story: Luke’s “In the Footsteps of Silk,” Artem’s “Serenade of the Soul,” Vyn’s “Reverberation Through Time,” and Marius’s “Void of Creation.” These cards also include Private Messages, offering a deeper dive into this thousand-year-old journey.
