Saber Interactive Confirms All Announced Projects Still in Development Despite KOTOR Radio Silence

Saber Interactive has broken its silence to confirm that every previously announced game remains in active development - including the much-delayed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake. The reassurance comes alongside the surprise reveal of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3.

The Waiting Game Continues

Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits took to social media to address growing fan concerns, stating: "As one of the world's largest independent studios, we've got multiple projects cooking across different genres. Every title we've ever mentioned? Still happening." He promised updates "when we've got something awesome to show."

The studio's most notorious ghost project - the KOTOR remake - has become gaming's equivalent of Bigfoot since its 2021 announcement. The troubled development saw the project shuffled between studios before Saber ultimately kept it during their split from Embracer Group last year. CEO Matthew Karch previously swore the remake was "alive and well," though evidence remains as scarce as moisture on Tatooine.

The Mystery Projects

While Space Marine 3 just joined Saber's roster, the studio's 2025 lineup includes two undated titles - John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and Jurassic Park Survival. Two other known projects - a new Turok game and an Avatar: The Last Airbender title - remain shrouded in secrecy.

The gaming community continues holding its breath for KOTOR news, left only with Willits' recent assurance that the remake hasn't been sent to the scrap yard. For now, Warhammer fans can distract themselves by speculating about possible chapters and enemies in Space Marine 3 - check out our deep dive on what to expect from the sequel.
