To achieve "verified" status, a game must fully support the device’s controls and display while meeting Valve’s standards for input, visuals, seamlessness, and system compatibility.

The tests show Silent Hill f functions well with the default controller setup and displays Steam Deck controller icons. However, some in-game text may appear small and hard to read, and manual adjustments are needed for smooth performance on the handheld.

This marks a significant step forward, especially since Silent Hill 2 Remake lacked Steam Deck support despite patches. Konami has not yet set a release date for Silent Hill f, giving developers time to further refine its performance.
