Pokémon GO Announces Classic Pokémon for January Community Day

The January 2025 Community Day Classic in Pokémon GO features Ralts! This event runs from 2 pm to 5 pm local time on January 25th.
Key Event Highlights:
- Featured Pokémon: Ralts (with a chance to encounter Shiny Ralts).
- Evolution Bonus: Evolving Kirlia (Ralts' evolution) during the event, or within five hours afterward, results in a Gardevoir or Gallade knowing the Charged Attack Synchronoise (80 damage).
- Event Bonuses: Increased Incense and Lure Module duration (3 hours each), and reduced egg hatching distance (1/4). Take snapshots for a surprise!
Special Event Features:
- Special Research ($2): Includes a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and three Ralts encounters with seasonal backgrounds.
- Timed Research: Rewards four Sinnoh Stones and a Ralts encounter.
- Continued Timed Research: Offers additional Ralts encounters with special backgrounds.
- Field Research: Provides Stardust and Great Balls.
- New Showcases & Offers: Including an Ultra Community Day Box ($4.99) and two in-game coin bundles (1350 and 480 PokeCoins).
This Community Day Classic provides another opportunity to catch Ralts, originally introduced in 2017 with the Hoenn region. It's one of several January events planned, including the return of Shadow Ho-Oh on Shadow Day and the anticipated Lunar New Year event.
