The campaign kicks off at the dawn of the Hundred Years' War in 1337, allowing players to navigate through major historical events with an array of new features. Today's reveal highlighted a new, larger map utilizing accurate map projection, showcasing hundreds of different societies. A population-based system, along with enhanced production and trade systems, will enable players to build farms, plantations, and factories, or engage in trade with neighboring areas. These elements contribute to a strategy experience where players can freely shape and manage their nation according to their vision.

Last week's tease hinted at a mysterious and "ambitious" project from the Paradox team, although fans had largely anticipated what was coming.
