Heads up: Spotify is currently experiencing widespread outages this morning.

According to Downdetector, Spotify service disruptions began popping up around 6 a.m. PT, with user reports continuing to rise steadily. Multiple users, including our team, have been unable to access the app for extended periods. Even when the app loads, many are finding that music playback is not functioning as expected.

Spotify has officially acknowledged the issue, confirming that its technical team is actively working to resolve the problem. The company has also addressed rumors, stating that the outage is not the result of a security breach.

We are aware of the outage and working to resolve it as soon as possible. The reports of this being a security hack are false.
