Netflix is adapting the acclaimed video game Sifu into a feature film. Initially announced in 2022 as a collaboration between Story Kitchen and Sloclap (the game's developer), the project has expanded its production team. Deadline reports that T.S. Nowlin (known for Maze Runner and Netflix's Project Adam) is writing the screenplay. While Derek Kolstad’s involvement remains unclear, Chad Stahelski (director of the John Wick franchise) and his company, 87Eleven Entertainment, are on board as executive producers. Stahelski is also involved in adapting Ghost of Tsushima.
