"Mulan Update Enhances Disney Dreamlight Village Experience"

Jan 07,24

Disney Dreamlight Valley's Lucky Dragon update has arrived, bringing Mulan and Mushu to the Valley! This highly anticipated update, teased for weeks, launched June 26th and includes a new Realm, decorating improvements, the "Memory Mania" event tied to Inside Out 2, and the Majesty and Magnolias Star Path with exclusive rewards.

The update follows the Dreamlight Parks Fest (May 15th-June 5th), which offered park-themed recipes and furniture. A Pride Month collection of celebratory items was also introduced.

The Lucky Dragon update's centerpiece is a new Realm accessible via a newly opened door. Players help Mushu with his training camp to awaken Mulan, then assist both characters in establishing their homes (a Dragon Temple and Tea Stall, respectively) within the Valley. Completing their companion quests unlocks new recipe ingredients. The Majesty and Magnolias Star Path offers Mulan-themed attire, decorations, and hairstyles.

Further additions include the Island Getaway House Bundle in the Premium Shop, featuring Lilo & Stitch themed items and a new sun-and-surf Stitch outfit. The Memory Mania event challenges players to find Riley's belongings (hockey gear, trophies, cakes) to create Core Memory Shards, unlocking emotion-themed animal companions.

Remy's new daily food delivery quests reward players with Wrought Iron, used to craft outdoor furniture for Chez Remy.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Mulan Update Patch Notes:

  • Enhanced decorating: Duplicate items can now be easily added, and paths/fences can be swapped with a single click.
  • Camera Mode improvement: A toggle hides Touch of Magic furniture for easier decorating and DreamSnap creation.
  • Valley Visits upgrade: Goofy's Stall is now available during Valley Visits for item selling.
  • Animal Companions are now visible during Valley Visits.
