Get ready for Monopoly GO! to launch into hyperspace with its newest in-game event. Following last year's Marvel collaboration, the Monopoly GO x Star Wars crossover stands as the next major partnership for the game. This is unquestionably one of the most ambitious crossovers Scopely has undertaken to date.

When Does the Monopoly GO x Star Wars Collaboration Begin?

The event starts on May 1 and continues through July 2. The storyline begins in a delightfully imaginative way: PEG-E, the Monopoly GO robot, is watching Star Wars in Mr. M's private cinema.

She becomes completely engrossed, dreaming herself and her friends right into the Star Wars galaxy. From that pivotal moment, the focus shifts away from properties and hotels. It's now a battle of Jedi versus Sith and the light side against the dark.

Here’s a look at what you can expect during the Monopoly GO x Star Wars collaboration. You'll have the chance to collect a brand-new Star Wars GO! sticker album. This album unfolds like a comic book, reimagining parts of the Star Wars universe through PEG-E's creative lens.

The stickers feature a whole host of iconic characters, including R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, Yoda, Mace Windu, Luke, Rey Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, Grogu, Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Mandalorian.

The developers are even giving the standard Monopoly GO events a makeover to align with the Star Wars theme. Mini-games will take place on Tatooine and locations like the Mos Espa Grand Arena. You might even spot Qui-Gon and Mr. M engaging in some podracing excitement.

The event's official trailer premiered at Star Wars Celebration Japan. Beyond the characters and stickers, it appears the core gameplay will be infused with Star Wars references.
