Get ready for a blast from the past! It looks like the beloved Verdansk map is returning to Call of Duty: Warzone on March 10th. Activision initially hinted at a spring 2025 return last August, but now a countdown timer on the Call of Duty shop confirms the March 10th launch date (thanks, InsiderGaming).
A teaser image on the shop features a classic Verdansk scene: snow, pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane—a nostalgic trip for veteran players. This marks a significant return for many, especially considering the 2021 announcement that the original Verdansk was gone for good. Currently, the only way to experience it is through Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
Meanwhile, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 is live, boasting five new multiplayer maps (Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind), the return of Gun Game, new weapons, operators, and a pricey Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover. Warzone, however, has received less content than initially planned as the developers focus on fixing bugs and improving gameplay.
