What Do You Do in Archetype Arcadia?

The world is plagued by a disturbing illness known as Peccatomania, or the Original Syndrome, turning existence into a living nightmare. It begins with intense nightmares, then escalates into full-blown hallucinations, eventually causing individuals to lose control entirely.

For centuries, Peccatomania has cast a shadow over society. After experiencing vivid nightmares, sufferers start to perceive things that aren't real. In its final phase, the condition renders them a threat to everyone nearby.

However, a potential salvation exists. The online game Archetype Arcadia is the sole known method to decelerate the disease's progress. You follow Rust, the protagonist, as he ventures into this virtual realm to rescue his sister, Kristin, who has contracted Peccatomania.

What Are the Gameplay Elements?

In Archetype Arcadia, combat revolves around Memory Cards. These cards are physical manifestations of your own memories. If a card is destroyed during gameplay, you permanently lose that memory. Should all your cards be eliminated, it results in a Game Over and the complete loss of your sanity in reality.
