アーキタイプ・アルカディアで何をするの？
世界は「ペカトマニア」、あるいは「オリジナル症候群」と呼ばれる異常な病気に襲われ、現実が生きた悪夢へと変わってしまっている。この病気は、激しい悪夢から始まり、次第に完全な幻覚へと発展し、最終的には本人が完全に自らの支配を失うまでに至る。
数世紀にわたり、ペカトマニアは社会に暗い影を落としてきた。鮮明な悪夢を経験した患者は、現実にないものを見てしまうようになる。最終段階に至ると、本人が周囲の人々にとって脅威となる。
しかし、救いの道も存在する。オンラインゲーム『アーキタイプ・アルカディア』が、この病気の進行を遅らせる唯一の既知の方法である。主人公ルストを追って、彼の姉クリスティンがペカトマニアに感染した世界へと飛び込み、彼女を救い出す。

ゲームプレイの要素とは？ -------------------------------『アーキタイプ・アルカディア』では、戦闘は「メモリーカード」を中心に展開される。これらのカードは、自分自身の記憶の物理的表現である。ゲーム中にカードが破壊されると、その記憶は永久に失われる。すべてのカードが破壊されれば、ゲームオーバーとなり、現実世界でも精神が完全に失われる。
