InZOI's game director, Hyungjun "KJoon" Kim, has revealed intriguing details about the game's paranormal elements. Players will have limited control over ghosts, a mechanic interwoven with a karma system that tracks player actions and impacts their lives, even after death.

Good deeds ensure a peaceful transition to the afterlife, while negative actions may condemn players to an afterlife as a restless spirit. To move on, these ghosts must atone for their past karmic shortcomings.

While ghost control is slated for a later update (though ghosts themselves will appear in the early access version), Kim emphasizes InZOI's focus on realistic gameplay, keeping paranormal elements carefully balanced.
