The hype surrounding Natlan in Genshin Impact is reaching fever pitch! Hoyoverse has announced the date for the highly anticipated Natlan special program, sparking excitement within the community. This Friday at 12:00 AM (UTC-4), the live stream will premiere on Twitch and YouTube.

The program poster, titled “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn,” promises a wealth of Natlan reveals, from official character banners to free in-game rewards.

The Bennett Surprise: Free Character or Missed Opportunity?

The big question everyone's asking: the free character. While many anticipated a free Kachina, a Natlan native, Hoyoverse has opted for Bennett, the popular adventurer. He'll be obtainable through a world quest. This deviates from the usual tradition of providing a free character from the new region to aid exploration. Rumors suggest Bennett's origins may be linked to Natlan, offering a somewhat fitting, albeit unexpected, choice. Kachina, however, will not be a free acquisition.

Generous Free Primogems

The free Primogems are generating considerable buzz. After some initial fluctuation, the final number of free pulls appears to have settled at 115. Completing all content in version 5.0 will yield this amount. Even with a less intensive play schedule, players can still expect approximately 90 free pulls.

With version 5.0 launching on August 28th, Genshin Impact's 4th anniversary celebrations are also underway. This includes a 7-day login event offering ten fates, 1600 Primogems, a free pet, and a gadget. Combining this with daily commissions, world quests, Spiral Abyss runs, and other events, players could accumulate around 18,435 Primogems or 115 wishes.
