How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO

Fidough and Dachsbun were introduced during the Dual Destiny Season's "Fidough Fetch" event (January 4th-8th, 2025). Fidough appeared as a wild spawn alongside other canine Pokémon. It was also available through Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.

Trainers could also obtain Fidough (and subsequently Dachsbun) through trading with other players. Online Pokémon GO communities like Reddit and Discord are good places to find trading partners.

Dachsbun didn't appear as a wild spawn. To obtain it, Trainers needed to either trade for one or evolve a Fidough using 50 Candies. Given Dachsbun's potential in battles, choosing a Fidough with high stats for evolution is recommended.

Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?

As of the Dual Destiny season, shiny Fidough and Dachsbun weren't available. However, future events may introduce shiny variants, as is common practice with Pokémon GO. Until then, Trainers will need to wait for a future opportunity.
