Crushed in Time Revives Holmes and Watson
- Crushed in Time is the latest spin-off from the popular There Is No Game series.
- Draw Me a Pixel reunites Holmes and Watson for another delightfully eccentric adventure.
- Solve a point-and-click puzzle adventure that transports you through various stages of a game's development.
Longtime readers may recall our earlier coverage of the humorous point-and-click adventure There Is No Game. It recently appeared as a free title on the Epic Games Store, and now fans can anticipate a new spin-off titled Crushed in Time!
Describing the works of developer Draw Me a Pixel is challenging—as Stephen noted, they represent "quirkiness of the highest order." However, Crushed in Time appears to adopt a somewhat more straightforward approach, or at least one that's less mind-bending than playing a game that technically isn't a game.
In any case, Crushed in Time marks the return of Holmes and Watson, who made a brief appearance in one segment of There Is No Game. This time, the duo is investigating nothing less than the development process of their own game, jumping between various stages of its creation.

Crunch Time
Your mission? Locate a missing character from the recently launched game to restore order. But since this is a Draw Me a Pixel production, expect the unexpected—though it promises to be just as entertaining.
Crushed in Time features the same point-and-click adventure gameplay as the original There Is No Game. Instead of relying on classic inventory puzzles (like using a rubber chicken with a pulley), you'll uncover interactive elements in the environment and solve puzzles through intuitive exploration.
Scheduled for release in 2026 on mobile and PC, Crushed in Time is poised to be just as whimsical and inventive as its predecessor, if not more so.
