Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel's Shadow Duelist Revealed as Dylan Sprouse
- The third Shadow Duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel was revealed to be actor Dylan Sprouse.
- Sprouse's identity as the villainous Baron Bloodthorne was unveiled during the tournament finals.
- The champion received a personalized, autographed mask as their prize.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! community bridges divides of time, gender, and even nationality—and now, it extends into the world of celebrities. The latest Shadow Duelist in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, Baron Bloodthorne, was unmasked in yesterday’s tournament finale as none other than actor Dylan Sprouse.
Dylan and his twin brother Cole are widely known for starring in Disney Channel’s Suite Life sitcom series. Since then, both have pursued individual careers, and for Dylan, appearing as Baron Bloodthorne fits perfectly into his creative path.
Similar to his voice role as the elven outcast Alith Anaar in Total War: Warhammer II, Dylan Sprouse challenged duelists in the Shadow Duelist series with impressive skill. He joined a lineup of celebrities who previously competed under masks and aliases against tournament winners.

A Masked Tradition
Previous Shadow Duelists included WWE superstar Xavier Woods and One Direction’s Zayn Malik, each wearing their own unique mask designs. The tournament champion not only earned the honor of revealing Sprouse as Baron Bloodthorne but also received his custom mask as a trophy, complete with the actor's signature.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel—one of the most popular mobile and console adaptations of the iconic trading card game—hardly needs an introduction. Yet its Shadow Duelist series has become a standout feature, drawing attention and enthusiasm from the multiplayer card battler’s fanbase.
But it wouldn’t be Yu-Gi-Oh! without one crucial element. No, not Edison or Speed Duel—it's the forbidden and limited list. If you plan to compete at a professional level in Master Duel, it's essential to stay updated with the game's official banlist.
