Black Clover M to End Service Less Than Two Years After Global Debut

Mar 04,26

Black Clover M: Rise of the Wizard King will cease operations, as announced today. Launched globally on November 30, 2023, following a regional soft launch, the mobile game concludes its nearly two-year run.

When Will Black Clover M Shut Down?

The end-of-service (EOS) is set for August 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM. All paid item purchases will halt on June 20, though existing paid items, battle passes, and packs remain usable until the shutdown in August.

A final content update arrives on June 25, featuring new content inspired by the film Black Clover: The Magic Emperor’s Sword. Two mages from the movie will also be added to the game.

Additionally, black crystals (both paid and free) will be offered at significantly reduced prices in the exchange, ranging from 1 to 10 crystals. New account creation will be disabled starting June 25 after maintenance.

Post-shutdown, refunds for unused paid black crystals can be requested starting August 20 and will be available until November 17, 2025.

Refund requests will require details such as your email address, nickname, AID, date of birth, and crystal count. Support services, including the help desk, will also close on November 17, 2025.

Ever Tried It?

This mobile RPG is set in the Black Clover universe from Shonen Jump and TV Tokyo. It features turn-based combat and character collection tied to the anime’s storyline. Players build teams of magic knights, enhance their abilities, and strive to become the Wizard King.

At its launch, the game was celebrated for capturing the anime’s vibrant appeal on mobile. However, like many modern gacha games, it soon faced criticism for its character progression and mechanics.

If you’re a fan of the anime and curious about the game, it’s still available on the Google Play Store.
