A Fragile Mind, a new puzzle adventure from Glitch Games, blends classic escape room mechanics with a touch of humor for a lighter tone. We shared the game with our App Army community to gather their insights.

Here's what they had to say:

At first glance, the game’s icon seemed dated, suggesting a lackluster experience. But after diving in, I discovered a unique and engaging puzzle adventure.

The puzzles are tough yet captivating, making this one of the standout puzzle games. I’d recommend playing on a tablet like an iPad for the best experience.

This point-and-click adventure features static pre-rendered visuals and a series of increasingly complex puzzles across building floors. The narrative is unclear, but the gameplay allows progressing to the next floor without solving every puzzle, with some requiring items from later areas.

The game breaks the fourth wall cleverly, like noting an item’s graphic “lacks detail to matter.” The hint system is generous, updating dynamically to guide you, though it’s easy to overuse. I reached the third floor but relied heavily on hints thereafter.

The puzzles are logical once solved, avoiding overly obscure challenges. The developers clearly know the genre well, but navigation can feel disorienting, especially when rooms loop back to corridors unpredictably. Still, it’s a minor flaw.

It won’t convert puzzle-game skeptics, but it’s a strong entry for fans. I’ll keep playing.

A Fragile Mind is a first-person puzzle adventure where you awaken in a garden inside a mysterious building, unsure of your identity or location. Exploration involves photographing clues and finding objects to solve puzzles and advance. yt

The graphics and sound are functional but unremarkable. The puzzles are challenging, often requiring a walkthrough. It’s a short game with little replay value, but puzzle enthusiasts will find it worthwhile.

Escape-room puzzlers are among my favorite mobile games, involving object hunting and clever puzzle-solving. Unfortunately, A Fragile Mind falls short in execution.

The visuals feel unclear, making puzzles and their components hard to discern. Poor UI choices, like a menu button placed where it’s easily tapped by mistake, frustrate the experience.

The pacing feels off, with too many puzzles available early on, leaving players disoriented. I relied on the hint system immediately to find direction.

Puzzle games often feel daunting with rewards that don’t match the effort, but A Fragile Mind surprised me pleasantly. It offers ample audio and visual settings, a compelling aesthetic, and an engaging atmosphere. The puzzles and clues are intriguing, and the hint system is effective, guiding players clearly or even revealing solutions when needed. It’s a concise yet satisfying experience for a low price. Highly recommended!

Picture waking up confused in your car at night, facing an abandoned circus. A note on the passenger seat reads, “It’s in the trunk!” You find a pin, open the trunk, and discover a feather and a razor blade. At the circus entrance, a massive elephant appears, hinting at the wordplay on “trunk.” A banana on a table with some paper

This captures the essence of A Fragile Mind (spoiler-free!). Glitch Games elevates the genre with layered puzzles that feel like a complex Jenga tower. Each room brims with clues for multiple challenges, requiring careful note-taking—both in-game photos and physical notes.

It runs smoothly on Android (Google Pixel phones) with extensive visual and sound options, plus strong accessibility features. Expert solvers can finish in about an hour, with humor and puns adding charm. I had a great time!
