由Geoff Keighley主持的2024年遊戲大獎公布了19個類別的提名。《Final Fantasy VII Rebirth》以七項提名領跑，包括年度最佳遊戲。其他GOTY競爭者包括備受讚譽的《Astro Bot》、獨立佳作《Balatro》、文化熱門《黑神話：悟空》、備受期待的RPG《Metaphor: ReFantazio》以及備受爭議的《Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree》。投票現已開放，至12月11日止，可於遊戲大獎官網及Discord伺服器進行投票。
