Zombies Overrun Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 introduces significant quality-of-life improvements for Zombies mode. Key updates include a much-requested co-op pause feature, allowing players in the same party to pause high-round matches. This addresses a long-standing player request.
Furthermore, the upcoming update implements "AFK Kick Loadout Recovery." This ensures players kicked for inactivity can rejoin with their original loadouts, mitigating the frustration of lost progress. Separate HUD presets for Zombies and Multiplayer modes will also debut, eliminating the need to constantly readjust settings between game modes.
Additional enhancements include a challenge tracking system. Players can now manually track up to 10 Calling Card and 10 Camo Challenges per mode, with a helpful "near completion" indicator for easier progress monitoring. These tracked challenges will be visible both in the lobby and in-game.
These improvements, alongside the new Tomb map, aim to enhance the overall Zombies experience. Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches January 28, 2025.
