Microsoft has officially unveiled the first wave of the Xbox Game Pass lineup for May 2025, featuring an exciting array of 12 games that will be available through May 20. The standout title of this month is undoubtedly Doom: The Dark Ages, the latest installment in id Software’s iconic first-person shooter series. As a Microsoft-owned title, it will launch directly on Game Pass on day one. However, Doom: The Dark Ages is not the only game to enjoy a day-one release on the service this month.

Starting today, May 6, subscribers can dive into Dredge (available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S), which is accessible via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Here's what Microsoft has to say about it:

On May 7, Game Pass will see several more additions: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard; Dungeons of Hinterberg (Console) on Game Pass Standard; Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (Xbox Series X|S) on Game Pass Standard; and Metal Slug Tactics (Console) on Game Pass Standard.

May 8 brings two more titles to the service. Revenge of the Savage Planet (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) will be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as a day-one release. Here's a glimpse into what players can expect:

Moving on to May 13, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (Cloud and Console) will be making a return to the Game Pass library, available on Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard. Here's what you can look forward to:
