Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will see yet another delay, with the new release window set for October 2025. The game's official Twitter (X) account announced this update on March 26, accompanied by a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights on the current development status. He stated, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Over the past few months, Paradox has been sharing Dev Diaries to keep the community informed about the game's progress, covering characters, stories, and mechanics. However, all Dev Diaries will be paused as the developers shift their focus to enhancing the game's overall quality.

First Revealed in 2019

Bloodlines 2 was first unveiled in March 2019, with an initial release planned for March 2020. The game was initially developed by Hardsuit Labs. However, delays started cropping up early on, with the first pushback announced in October 2019, moving the release to an unspecified date in 2020, and later to 2021.

During this period, the project saw multiple lead changes. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and development would transition to The Chinese Room. The release date was then rescheduled for late 2024, then shifted to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.
