Larian Studios recently unveiled a chilling preview of a new evil ending coming in Baldur's Gate 3's Patch 7. The 52-second cinematic teaser, shared on X (formerly Twitter), showcases the Dark Urge's descent into utter depravity.

A Father's Legacy of Terror

The preview depicts a horrifying scene: the Dark Urge's companions witnessing their leader succumb to Bhaal's influence, seizing control of the Netherbrain. The Dark Urge, driven by this sinister power, forces their companions to meet a gruesome end. A chilling narration underscores the scene: "Time for the final act. Your tragedy has become mankind's." The Dark Urge ultimately suffers a similar fate.

Beyond the Dark Urge:

This is just one of several new evil endings promised for Patch 7. Larian previously hinted at other dark conclusions, including the Dark Urge wading through a sea of carnage and a town consumed by "sheer mindless bliss" under the influence of the True Absolute. Importantly, these endings aren't exclusive to Dark Urge playthroughs.
