As an Archer, your most effective strategy is to keep a safe distance from enemies and let your arrows speak for you. While Archers can deal significant damage, they're not built for taking hits.

Archers don medium armor, which strikes a balance between light and heavy armor. Unlike their light-armored counterparts like Magicians or Priests, Archers lack protective spells or the resilience of heavy armor. Instead, they depend on others, particularly their Pets, to absorb damage.

Tamed Pets are crucial for Archers. While your pet options start off limited, Archers gain access to unique pets not available to other classes, significantly enhancing their power and versatility within the game.

How to Get Beast Tamer in Rune Slayer

At Level 30, like all classes in Rune Slayer, Archers can choose between two subclasses: Sharpshooter or Beast Tamer. Opt for Beast Tamer as soon as you reach level 30.

There's currently no compelling reason to choose Sharpshooter. While firing multiple arrows sounds appealing, it pales in comparison to the Beast Tamer's Alpha Predator passive ability, which enables you to tame unique beasts like Bears, Adult Spiders, Crocodiles, and particularly Mud Crabs.
