Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Rated on Singaporean Website

Mar 15,25

Fueling the fire of anticipation for a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remake, Singapore's rating board has listed "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4" for release in 2025. This rumored remake, encompassing the next two mainline entries in the iconic skateboarding franchise, is slated for a wide array of platforms: Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

While official confirmation remains elusive, a countdown timer nestled within Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 hints at imminent Tony Hawk's Pro Skater news, culminating on March 4, 2025. Adding to the speculation, Tony Hawk himself revealed on Mythical Kitchen that he's been in discussions with Activision, teasing a project that will "truly appreciate" the fans.

The success of the 2020 Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 remake made a sequel featuring games 3 and 4 seem inevitable. However, Activision's 2021 absorption of Vicarious Visions, the developer behind the acclaimed remake, into Blizzard cast a shadow of uncertainty. Vicarious Visions was subsequently dedicated to Blizzard projects.

According to Tony Hawk, plans to tackle 3+4 were in place until the release of 1+2. The acquisition of Vicarious Visions prompted Activision to seek alternative developers, but the pitches received failed to meet their expectations. As Tony Hawk explained in a 2022 Twitch livestream, Activision struggled to find a developer they trusted as much as Vicarious Visions.

The mystery remains: who's crafting this highly anticipated remake? The Singaporean ratings board lists Activision as both publisher and developer. All eyes are on March 4th for potential revelations.
