Tony Hawk Insists Bam Margera Joins THPS 3+4

Bam Margera, the iconic skateboarder and Jackass star, will indeed be featured in the upcoming Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4, despite not being on the initial roster announcement. This exciting news was shared by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.

According to Bagley, the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk personally intervened, requesting that Activision include Margera. Although initially told it was not possible, Hawk's determination prevailed, ensuring Margera's inclusion. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.

Margera, known for his appearances in the Jackass franchise, has faced significant personal challenges, including struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, leading to multiple rehab visits. He was also dismissed from Jackass Forever and faced a restraining order from director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats. Despite these issues, Margera's recent skateboarding video alongside Tony Hawk sparked rumors of his return to the game.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 is set to launch on July 11, 2025, across various platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, the game overcame significant hurdles, including the threat of cancellation following Activision's merger of the previous developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
