Tinkatink Debuts in Pokémon Go to Celebrate Pokémon Horizons: Season 2 Arrival
The Horizons Celebration is making a vibrant return to Pokémon Go, and this time, it's introducing the delightful Tinkatink along with its evolutions, Tinkatuff and Tinkaton. Mark your calendars for the event, which will run from April 16th to 22nd, and get ready to encounter these new additions. Tinkatink's family is known for their distinctive hammers, and Tinkaton especially loves to launch rocks at Corviknight. You can evolve your Tinkatink into Tinkaton with about 125 Candy, which you can gather throughout the week.
Adding to the excitement, a costumed Floragato, adorned with Liko’s pin, will be making appearances in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and participating in Raids. Keep your eyes peeled for a Shiny version of this charming Pokémon. Other Pokémon like Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat and Charcadet might also make an appearance, adding more variety to your encounters.
A selection of beloved Paldea Pokémon, including Fuecoco, Sprigatito, Quaxly, and Pawmi, will be roaming the wild. Meanwhile, seven km Eggs will hatch familiar faces such as Hatenna and Elekid, with a chance to encounter Tinkatink as well. Don't miss out on the snapshot surprises, as characters from the Horizons series and their Pokémon could photobomb your pictures, adding a fun twist to your event experience.
For those eager to battle, Pikachu in Cap’s hat will be equipped with the powerful Volt Tackle move. Raids will feature a mix of Pokémon, including Charizard, Metagross, Alolan Muk, and more Floragato. Team Go Rocket balloons will appear more frequently, Egg hatch distances will be halved, and you'll enjoy increased Shiny chances and higher Stardust payouts.
Engage in Field Research and take advantage of both free and paid Timed Research opportunities, which offer exclusive rewards such as an avatar pose. To prepare for the event, consider purchasing the Celebration Event Ultra Ticket Box from the Pokémon Go Web Store for $4.99 to enhance your gameplay further.
