Despite being over a decade old, Grand Theft Auto V has sold an additional five million copies in the past three months. Since its original launch in September 2013, GTA V continues to rank among the top-selling video games of all time.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has also seen a surge in sales, with lifetime units sold reaching 70 million—an increase of three million in the last quarter alone. The game first launched in October 2018.

GTA Online, the multiplayer component of GTA V, remains a key driver of its ongoing success. Take-Two Interactive continues to engage the community with regular updates, including the December 2024 release of the Agents of Sabotage mission.

Looking ahead, the company has confirmed Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch in fall 2025. In addition, Mafia: The Old Country is slated for a summer release, with Borderlands 4 expected later in the year.

If you're worried about possible delays for Grand Theft Auto VI, you can rest easy—the highly anticipated title remains on schedule for an autumn launch. Take-Two reiterated this timeline during its latest financial update. While Borderlands 4 is also confirmed for this year, specific release dates have yet to be announced.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick commented, "Rockstar Games is committed to a deliberate development cycle, which may extend production timelines, as seen with past titles like GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2," despite the confirmed fall release window.
