Switch 2 Release Confirmed in Nintendo Direct
The Nintendo Switch 2 finally has a release date: it's coming on June 5, 2025.
Nintendo also revealed the starting price for the console, which is set at $449.99.
The Nintendo Switch 2 package includes the following items:
Nintendo Switch 2 console
Joy-Con 2 controllers (Left and Right)
Joy-Con 2 Grip
Joy-Con 2 Straps
Nintendo Switch 2 Dock
Ultra High-Speed HDMI Cable
Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter
USB-C Charging Cable
Additionally, the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle is priced at $499.99 in the U.S. This bundle features the console and a download code for Mario Kart World, available from the system's launch on June 5.
Mario Kart World will be sold separately for $79.99—a $10 increase over Nintendo's previous top-tier Switch game pricing.
