Supercell Rises from Clash Heroes Ashes with Project R.I.S.E.
Finnish game developer Supercell has made a surprising announcement: after cancelling their RPG, Clash Heroes, they're reviving the concept in a completely new form – Project R.I.S.E.
The Resurrection of Clash Heroes
Clash Heroes is officially defunct. However, Supercell isn't abandoning the Clash universe. Project R.I.S.E. will be a social action RPG roguelite, reimagining the core gameplay within the familiar Clash setting.
Supercell's announcement video confirmed the cancellation of Clash Heroes, but highlighted the shift towards a multiplayer experience. Project R.I.S.E. will be a cooperative action RPG.

A New Take on the Clash Universe
Project R.I.S.E. is a fresh start, not simply a rehash. It's a social, cooperative roguelite where three players team up to ascend The Tower, facing unique challenges on each floor. Unlike the solo PvE focus of Clash Heroes, teamwork and character variety are central to Project R.I.S.E.
Currently in pre-alpha, the first playtest is scheduled for early July 2024. Registration for a chance to participate is open on the official website.
