Monster Hunter Now's Season 4: A Snowy Adventure Awaits!

Niantic has unleashed Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transporting players to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy challenges and exciting new additions to keep the hunt thrilling, even with virtual frostbite!

What's New in Monster Hunter Now Season 4?

This season introduces a frigid tundra habitat, complete with biting winds, deep snowdrifts, and a host of formidable monsters. Making their debut are Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex. Barioth also returns, alongside smaller creatures like Wulg and Cortos. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even appear randomly in the field. Unlock these powerful monsters by completing urgent quests throughout Season 4's story chapters. Access to the tundra is granted upon completion of the prologue.

A new weapon joins the arsenal: the versatile Switch Axe. This two-in-one weapon offers powerful, far-reaching strikes in Axe Mode, quickly transitioning to a ferocious Sword Mode for devastating close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by finishing Chapter 2's pre-season story.

Customize your very own Palico companion! These helpful allies assist in gathering materials and scouting monsters. Personalize their fur color, facial features, and even give them a unique name. AR functionality allows you to bring your custom Palico into the real world for memorable photos.

Season 4 also introduces Friend Cheering, adding a collaborative element to the hunts. Send cheers to your friends for a temporary health boost, though there's a daily limit to the amount of health you can gain from cheers.
