距离 11 月 20 日正式发布仅剩一周时间，STALKER 2 的最终系统需求终于揭晓。即使是最低设置，游戏对硬件的要求也很高，想要体验更高设置，则对硬件配置的要求更高。

最低配置要求相对适中，但在 4K 分辨率和高帧率下流畅运行游戏，则需要强大的游戏装备。“史诗级”设置尤其苛刻，其性能要求甚至可能超过 2007 年《孤岛危机》最高设置的臭名昭著的配置要求。
游戏存储空间需求也从 150GB 增加到 160GB。对于 PC 用户来说，建议使用 SSD，这不仅是为了存储，也是为了游戏加载速度，在一个错误的转弯都可能致命的游戏中，快速加载至关重要。
当被问及 Nvidia DLSS 和 AMD FSR 等升级选项（这些技术可以在不影响性能的情况下提升视觉质量）时，开发人员证实游戏将同时支持这两种技术。然而，具体将采用哪个版本的 FSR 仍不清楚。
此外，开发人员在 2024 年 Gamescom 的 Wccftech 采访中还证实，游戏将采用软件光线追踪。然而，关于硬件光线追踪，首席制作人 Slava Lukyanenka 表示：“对我们来说，现在还为时过早，但我们正在尝试。我们正在努力在发布日期之前实现它，但不太可能在游戏发布时就提供。”
