A Modern Revival of a Classic

Metal Slug: Awakening offers a fresh take on the iconic 90s series. Initially revealed in 2020 by TiMi Studios as Metal Slug Code: J, the game has undergone development and name changes before its Southeast Asian release in late 2023. Now, it's finally ready for worldwide players.

For the uninitiated, the Metal Slug series is a celebrated Japanese run-and-gun franchise, debuting in 1996 courtesy of Nazca Corporation. It's since blossomed into a multimedia phenomenon.

While Metal Slug has seen previous mobile entries (Metal Slug Defense, Metal Slug Attack, and Metal Slug Commander), Awakening promises a significant upgrade.

The game retains the core run-and-gun gameplay, enhanced by updated visuals and new mechanics. Rejoin your favorite Metal Slug characters in brand-new missions, across a World Adventure mode, engaging in 3-player cooperative Team-up battles, and tackling Roguelike challenges.
