The newly released teaser for *The Sinking City 2* highlights essential gameplay features such as combat, exploration, and investigations, which are core to the experience. Keep in mind, the footage shown was captured during the pre-alpha phase, so expect potential changes in the final version. Rest assured, the graphics and animations will see significant enhancements before launch.

As a direct sequel to the original, *The Sinking City 2* is a survival horror game set in the beleaguered city of Arkham. A supernatural flood has ravaged the city, leading to its downfall and turning it into a breeding ground for monstrous creatures.

To bolster development and support this ambitious project, Frogwares has initiated a Kickstarter campaign aiming to raise €100,000 (about $105,000). These funds will not only aid in development but also allow them to reward their loyal fanbase and involve players in playtesting sessions to polish the game to perfection prior to its release. The game is being crafted on the powerful Unreal Engine 5.

Mark your calendars: *The Sinking City 2* is slated for a 2025 release on current-generation consoles, including Xbox Series and PS5, as well as on PC via platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store (EGS), and GOG.
