The Sims will celebrate its 25th anniversary with lots of free items
Electronic Arts recently hosted a livestream to hype up The Sims 25th anniversary celebration, unveiling a plethora of gifts and in-game events planned for The Sims 4 players.
The festivities have already begun with a new update addressing various bugs, boasting a redesigned main menu, and enhanced optimization. Several classic houses in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs have also received a makeover. These updated houses are immediately available for new games, while existing saves can access them through the in-game library.
The main event starts February 4th with an update delivering over 70 free in-game items! A new in-game event, "Blast from the Past," launches concurrently. Players can unlock retro-themed items and collect a new set by completing simple missions.
Furthermore, a new season, "Motherlode," begins on February 6th. While details remain scarce, anticipation is building for this exciting addition.
