"Last of Us Season 4 Unlikely, Says Showrunner Craig Mazin"
The Last of Us’ TV adaptation has been a massive hit, securing a Season 3 renewal even before Season 2 began. However, fans are eagerly wondering if there will be a Season 4. Showrunner Craig Mazin has hinted that a fourth season is almost necessary to fully tell the story from the two Naughty Dog video games.
In an interview with Collider, Mazin explained that attempting to conclude the narrative in just Season 3 would make it excessively long. He stated, "Season 3 would take forever," and emphasized that "there’s no way to complete this narrative in a third season." He added that while Season 3 might be longer than Season 2, a fourth season is the "most likely outcome" to properly wrap up the story.
Mazin expressed hope that the series would continue to earn its audience, paving the way for a fourth season to finish the tale.
