"Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.: A Guide"
Dive into the thrilling world of the cooperative horror game *R.E.P.O.*, where up to six players team up to navigate through various maps, find valuables, and successfully extract them. To ensure you don’t lose your progress, here’s a detailed guide on how to save your game in *R.E.P.O.*
How To Save Your Game in R.E.P.O.
Nothing ruins a gaming session quite like realizing your progress hasn’t been saved. This can be especially frustrating with new games like *R.E.P.O.*, where the save system might not be immediately clear. Unlike some games, *R.E.P.O.* does not offer a manual save feature; instead, it relies on an autosave system that kicks in at specific points.
To save your game in *R.E.P.O.*, you must complete the level you are currently on. If you quit during a retrieval mission or die (which sends you to the Disposal Arena), your progress won’t be saved. Death in *R.E.P.O.* results in the deletion of your save file, and exiting mid-level means you'll have to start that level over from the beginning.
Here’s how the autosave works: Once you’ve finished a level and collected your valuables, head to the Extraction Point. From there, enter the truck and hold the message button above your head to signal the Taxman, your AI boss, that it's time to proceed to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can shop and prepare for your next challenge. Use the same button to signal that you’re ready to move on to the next level.
It’s crucial to wait until you’ve left the Service Station and arrived at your next location before exiting to the main menu or quitting the game. At this point, it’s safe to do so. When you or the host (if another player created the original save file) restarts the game, you can jump back into *R.E.P.O.* with your progress intact. Remember, the host is responsible for ensuring the game is exited at the right time to properly save everyone’s progress. Once the host exits, all other players will be logged out.

With this knowledge, you're now equipped to save your game effectively in *R.E.P.O.* For more tips and strategies, be sure to check out our other *R.E.P.O.* guides to enhance your gameplay experience.
*R.E.P.O.* is currently available on PC.
