Unlike some games, *R.E.P.O.* does not offer a manual save feature; instead, it relies on an autosave system that kicks in at specific points.

To save your game in *R.E.P.O.*, you must complete the level you are currently on. If you quit during a retrieval mission or die (which sends you to the Disposal Arena), your progress won’t be saved. Death in *R.E.P.O.* results in the deletion of your save file, and exiting mid-level means you'll have to start that level over from the beginning.

Here’s how the autosave works: Once you’ve finished a level and collected your valuables, head to the Extraction Point. From there, enter the truck and hold the message button above your head to signal the Taxman, your AI boss, that it's time to proceed to the Service Station.
